TREATMENT CENTERS

Detox is often the first step in seeking treatment for opiate addiction. This is a process of medication assisted support to ease the early stages of withdrawal and may be done as either an in-patient or out-patient program depending on the facility. This process needs to be followed by a treatment program. Treatment options include residency programs, out-patient treatment, medically assisted treatment (such as Suboxone, Methadone and Vivitrol), private counseling services and faith-based programs. If private insurance coverage is available, call your provider first for information on where to seek treatment. Non-profit centers may be able to help those with Medicaid coverage or no insurance. Listings on this page are for informational purposes and should not be considered recommendations. This information has been updated as of  August 2023 but may be subject to change without notice.

INVOLUNTARY TREATMENT OPTIONS AND INFORMATION
It is possible to get court ordered involuntary treatment (potentially at no cost) for your loved one's drug or alcohol addiction. Casey's Law  allows parents, relatives or friends to intervene in the substance use disorder of a loved one, regardless of age and without the filing of criminal charges.
