This list includes public service agencies as well as private charities and faith-based community outreach programs.  This information has been updated as of September 2023 but may be subject to change without notice. Winter holidays may also affect program availability and schedules.  Identification and eligibility requirements may apply.  Comprehensive resource navigation tool for a broad spectrum of community programs and services. 
Resources include education, substance abuse, jobs, health and insurance, parenting, transportation, legal assistance, emergencies, safety, basic needs and youth services. This service has replaced the United Way 211 information system which is no longer available.

FREE GRANTS FOR FELONS
This site offers information and  a state by state directory of grants and financial assistance programs for ex offenders who want to rebuild their life. Resources may include jobs, education, housing, emergency funds and basic needs but programs may not be available in all areas.

STARK COUNTY BLESSING BOX INITIATIVE
A Blessing Box is a small structure located in a common public area where people leave donated goods for others to pick up anonymously.
They are generally filled with non-perishable food items & toiletries.

SAVE OUR SIGHT
This is an Ohio Department of Health program that provides free protective equipment to qualified applicants.  Free services include "lazy eye" patches,  protective goggles for sports & school career tech training programs, sports helmets with face guards, and free prescription sports goggles for a qualifying child who wears glasses.
